The November Workday had perfect weather to improve the railroad. Track Inspector O'Guinn worked in Allen’s Valley and David’s Yard and grilled burgers for lunch. The SMP worked on brackets for the Hunter Locomotive train brake valves. The Car Repair Foreman serviced another car from the RLS Fleet and the new C-16 Boiler was delivered.

The first Run Day of August, RLS Members braving the summer heat to enjoy a day of live steam railroading!

This Run Day got HOT! We ended operations around 2pm due to the heat, it was 107*F!

This month's work day focus was cleaning up the compound. Weeds are our nemesis this year!! With all the rain we got the weeds are like a game of wack-a-mole. Thanks to Chris, Matthew and Tom for their efforts to swat the weeds! Richard Ronne built a new switch for Allen's Valley. David Bunts repaired the Hunter's lubrication system. Brook Adams did care maintenance. Kevin Zamp was camp cook with assistance from Brian Stevens. Burgers, dogs and chili were served up for lunch before the board meeting.

Our first Run Day for the month of May. The layout configuration was westbound outside loop. OS Notes: 404 riders. Clear & sunny. 3 passenger trains - 6 freight trains.

Our last Run Day for the month of April. The layout configuration was eastbound figure eight. OS Notes: 617 riders. Cloudy and then sunny. 3 passenger trains - 6 freight trains.

This month's work day was all about finishing touches on the club to get ready for the Spring Meet, the following weekend. Some members were out prepping their engines and getting their final touches complete for the meet as well. Camp cooks for this work day were Richard Ronne and Kevin Zamp's mother in law. Richard's custom Tuna Salad sandwiches and Kevin's MIL's sloppy Joes were served.

Our first Run Day for the month of April. The layout configuration was eastbound outside loop. OS Notes: 681 riders Clear & sunny - warm 3 passenger trains - 1 birthday 9 freight trains

A Special work day was called to ready the club for the upcoming Spring Meet. A lot of work was accomplished. The third level storage tracks were completed, the gravel in the transfer pit was regraded and filled with new rock and a new switch, AV#3 was replaced with one of Richard's new switches.

Our last Run Day for the month of March. The route configuration was Westbound Figure 8. OS Notes: 448 Passengers. Cloudy and then sunny. 3 passenger trains and 7 freight trains.

This was supposed to be the first public run for the month of February. However, the run day was canceled due to rain and only two freight trains made it out. Eastbound Figure 8 was the track route.

First public run day for the month of January and the new year. Westbound outside loop was the track layout.

It's been a long tradition that the members of RLS run on New Year's Day. There are no public rides given on this day because it is members and their guests only.
