Saturday, December 10, 2011, saw the official Grand Reopening of Hunter Hobby Park after one year of heavy construction and modernization. Four passenger trains were pressed into service to accommodate the departures of over 600 public passengers attending this once in a lifetime event.

These are photos of the new track installed in large areas of Hunter Park during the remodeling process. Park construction is nearing completion with green grass beginning to take root along Columbia Ave. There is landscaping left to complete on the south side beyond the new ball fields.
